Ride for a Cure was founded during COVID as a fun way to raise money for nonprofits that couldn't raise money in their traditional way due to social distancing guidelines. A of 2025, we have raised more the $75,000 for cancer centers in Maine.

In 2025, we were able to raise $25,000 with the help of over 530 participants riding more than 350 machines/motorcycles. Participants joined us from all over the state in 5 different events and fundraisers. 

 

Ride for a Cure expanded in 2025 to create three new regions: Downeast Region, Central Region, and Northern Region. The addition of these regions will allow us to raise money in central areas and ensure money raised in each region is allocated to a non-profit in that area.
